Vitality Netball Super League

The Vitality Netball Superleague descends upon Birmingham tomorrow as all ten teams head to the Genting Arena for the biggest day of Superleague there has ever been!

It will be non-stop netball for a crowd of over 6,000 when Loughborough Lightning and Severn Stars get us underway at 12pm.

Lightning will be hoping to continue their good start to the season while Stars look to bounce back from a Round 1 loss and claim a first victory in their short Superleague history.

At 2pm our two non-English teams go into battle as Sirens face off against Celtic Dragons with both sides looking to grab an opening win of the 2017 season.

Glasgow-based Sirens put on a good show in front of the Sky cameras on Tuesday night but will need to be at their best to overcome a strong Dragons side who almost got the better of Team Bath in Cardiff during Round 1.

The live Sky Sports action starts at 4pm with Team Northumbria attempting to conquer Wasps Netball.

Having opened the 2017 campaign with a valiant, but ultimately losing, effort against Mavericks, the team from the north-east will be hoping that an extra four days rest may give them the advantage against a Wasps team that looked very good in their victory over Sirens.

A re-match of the 2016 Grand Final lies in store at 6pm as Surrey Storm and Manchester Thunder go head-to-head.

Both sides have welcomed new faces over the off-season and both remain strong contenders to clinch a top four spot. With a scintillating on-court rivalry, fireworks are to be expected in this one.

The best, is arguably, saved for last as Hertfordshire Mavericks face Team Bath. The only match of Super Ten where two unbeaten teams put their 100% records on the line.

Centre-pass for this highly anticipated clash will be 8pm as the curtain comes down on an incredible day of action.
