Surrey Storm defeated UWS Sirens 58-44 in the Vitality Netball Superleague.
With an unchanged starting line-up, a 93% shooting rate from Sigi Burger inspired Storm to their second win of the season.
Both sides starting strongly with plenty of early goals leaving the score at 6-6 early on.
The first quarter remained tight until Burger and Katie Harris linked up leaving Storm with a 14-10 lead at the end of the first period.
Some great defensive work from Jo Trip and Katy Holland led to vital interceptions and Storm went in 30-22 ahead at half-time.
Tactical changes came in the second-half as Mikki Austin made her first appearance since suffering a knee injury in pre-season.
Austin immediately linked up with Burger and Storm finished the third quarter leading 45-34.
Despite a fightback from Sirens, Storm comfortably saw out the victory and made it two wins from their last three fixtures.
Next up for Storm is benecosMavericks who visit Surrey Sports Park on Saturday 4th May, with a 6:00pm centre-pass.
