Play-off teams secured!

Saturday’s Vitality Netball Superleague action has seen the top four secured with two rounds left to go before the semi-finals.

After Loughborough Lightning lost at the hands of Manchester Thunder, they were hanging on for a Team Northumbria win over Team Bath to still be in with a shout of a top four finish.

But after Bath picked up the away win in Northumbria, Lightning’s hopes of finishing in the play-off places were dashed.

Sky Netball masterclass with Team Bath

Sky Netball have been treating us to a series of masterclasses across this 2016 Vitality Netball Superleague season.

If you were watching Monday’s match between Hertfordshire Mavericks and Yorkshire Jets on Sky Sports 2 you’ll have seen an attacking masterclass.

Led by Tamsin Greenway, with the help of Team Bath’s Mia Ritchie and Rachel Shaw, we were shown how to attack the circle edge and how to position to successfully feed the shooters.

It’s the fixture so many fans are looking forward to and it will be aired live on Sky Sports 5 this coming Saturday 5th March!

Surrey Storm will face Hertfordshire Mavericks at the Copper Box in the fixture billed as London Live and is set to be a huge game for both sides.

Storm too strong for Thunder

Tonight’s feature Vitality Netball Superleague match on Sky Sports 2 was the clash between Manchester Thunder and Surrey Storm.

After four quarters of neck and neck play, reigning champions Storm pulled away to become 55-49 winners.
