Team Bath Vs Strathclyde Sirens

Storm silence Thunder at Super Ten

Manchester Thunder slipped to their second successive defeat of the 2017 Superleague season after Surrey Storm took a 58-48 win in a repeat of last year’s Grand Final at Super Ten.

It was a strong start from the 2014 Champions as they moved into a 15-12 lead at the end of a combative first quarter.

Storm hit back to lead by four at half-time. This lead was cut to two by the end of the third quarter but a strong final fifteen minutes from their opponents took the game away from Thunder.

A home match against Sirens is to come for Thunder in Round 3 as they look to bounce back and claim a first win of the season. You can read the official Manchester Thunder match report from their clash against Storm – here.
