Vitality Netball Superleague Super 10 returns

The highly anticipated Vitality Netball Superleague is back as Super 10 returns for the opening weekend of the 2019 season, with all 10 teams preparing to take to the court for a fast-paced day of first class netball.

The adrenaline-pumping event will take place at the Arena Birmingham on Saturday 5 January 2019, with tickets available to fans from 9am on Thursday 4 October 2018.

2019 is set to be a hugely exciting year for netball in England with the Netball World Cup being staged in Liverpool in July and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Kadeen Corbin believes Super 10 is the perfect way to start the season.

Corbin said: “Super 10 is the most exciting place to see all 10 teams in one venue.

“I’m excited to get the Vitality Netball Superleague started and what a better way than to start altogether.

“It’s going to be very competitive with all teams out to win their first game of the season.”

Fans also have another bumper weekend of netball to look forward to over the Easter Bank Holiday with back-to-back fixtures on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2019.

The Ricoh Arena, home of defending champions Wasps Netball, will play host to five fixtures with the Emirates Arena (Strathclyde Sirens’ home venue) staging four and the other match taking place in Gloucester.

All of the teams will be determined to finish in the top four to reach the semi-finals on Saturday 11 May and then the final on Saturday 18 May, when the 2019 Vitality Netball Superleague champions will be crowned.

Clubs are still fine-tuning their squads but there has already been plenty of off-season movement and announcements with plenty more still to come in the build-up to the opening event of the new season.
