Share Surrey Storm have announced the signing of starlet Emily Gulvin for the 2021 Superleague season. The 23-year-old has grown from strength-to-strength during her three seasons in duck egg blue – making the jump from the Storm NPL squad to the Superleague. Establishing herself as a key part of Mikki Austin’s team, Gulvin will be looking to continue her impressive start to her career in the 2021 campaign. Emily joins Mikki Austin and Yasmin Parsons once again for the new season – ensuring the core of Surrey Storm remain in place for another year. Thrilled to have re-signed, Gulvin said: “I’m really excited to have signed with Storm for another year. I’ve really missed training and playing these last few months so I couldn’t wait to be back!” “I love working with Mikki and our other coaches and I’m keen to keep developing as a player and see us continue to develop as a team. The team environment at Storm is always positive, supportive and challenging and I’m looking forward to building on previous relationships. Another amazing part of playing for Storm is the fans. They are so supportive and dedicated and I can’t wait to be playing in front of our home crowd again soon!” Mikki Austin added: “Emily Gulvin offers us such a dynamic and speedy option in the midcourt so we are so excited to resign her for next season and beyond. As someone who has been part of Surrey Storm’s NPL system and seen her playing career all the way through to the Superleague, Emily is the epitome of what our programme is all about – hard work, dedication and resilience.” Related news post 20th Apr 2024 Round 10: Narrow victories for Storm and Lightning Reading: 4 mins Related players: Emily Gulvin Tags: 2021 Signing Window VNSL 2020 Previous Story Rudland moves to Celtic Dragons from Team Bath Next Story Strathclyde Sirens retain Lynsey Gallagher for 2021 More News 2 days ago wpforms Media Accreditation – Netball Super League Grand Final Reading: 3 mins 2 days ago video Round 10 Highlights: Manchester Thunder vs Severn Stars 2 days ago video Round 10 Highlights: Loughborough Lightning vs Saracens Mavericks 20th Apr 2024 News Round 10: Narrow victories for Storm and Lightning Reading: 4 mins 19th Apr 2024 News Where to Watch: Round 10 Reading: 6 mins More Google Ad – MPU – Right Column
