Big Easter Weekend - 20th & 21st April - R15 + R16

Two time Superleague champions Surrey Storm have announced the re-signing of Alima Priest for the 2021 Superleague season.

Another product of the Storm NPL squads, the 25-year-old has earned a promotion from being a training partner to a full contract for the 2021 campaign.

After making her Superleague debut in January 2019, Alima has grown from strength to strength, and impressed in her game time last season before the season was called off in March.

Delighted to be back, Alima said: “I’m so excited to be back with Storm for this season.  I’m looking forward to getting back on court and working with our brilliant coaching team. I’m ready to continue to build, grow and compete with this incredible team.”

Mikki Austin added: “We are thrilled to have elevated Alima from a training partner to a full contract for 2021.
“She is an athlete who has stayed the course over the last few seasons and worked incredibly hard to earn this opportunity. Alima is a defender that has shone whenever she has been given the opportunity and we cannot wait to continue to work with her. As a product of our NPL system, Alima encapsulates what we are about here at Surrey Storm – sustained hard work and reward from within.”
