The Scottish Thistles are the senior representative netball team for Scotland whilst Scotland A programme provides the next group of players with exposure to high-level training and identified matchplay opportunities, designed to develop athletes towards making the step into the Thistles programme. Commenting on the depth of the squad Scottish Thistles Head Coach Tamsin Greenway said; “I’m really excited to be able to name both the Scottish Thistles and the Scotland A squads for the upcoming season. After working closely with a large group of athletes over the past few months we were finally able to select. I’ve been hugely impressed with the amount of talent on display and it was great for the players to be rewarded for their efforts and dedication. Moving forwards both groups will be working closely together, and I can’t wait to get fully back into coaching and to take these squads on their next journey.” Related news post 12th Aug 2022 The First Interview: Lenize Potgieter talks Thunder, pressure, and weather Reading: 5 mins Manchester Thunder Tags: VNSL 2021 Previous Story Vimbela to miss 2021 season through injury Next Story Saracens Mavericks announce leadership team ahead of 2021 season More News 12th Aug 2022 News The First Interview: Lenize Potgieter talks Thunder, pressure, and weather Reading: 5 mins 12th Aug 2022 News Manchester Thunder sign South Africa star Lenize Potgieter Reading: 3 mins 12th Aug 2022 News 2023 Signing Window explained: How do VNSL transfers work?
