Share Surrey Storm take on Wasps (Morgan Harlow) The Vitality Netball Superleague can confirm the game between Surrey Storm and Wasps, scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed. A member of the Wasps playing squad returned a positive result as part of the weekly league-wide testing programme. A final PCR test to confirm the result will not be received in time for the teams to travel to the Copper Box Arena for tomorrow’s game. We have therefore made the decision to postpone this fixture as we cannot take any risks with player, staff and officials health and safety. A new date for the postponed fixture, if the individual test is negative, will be announced in due course. Neither the Vitality Netball Superleague nor Wasps will be naming the individual involved and we would ask that their privacy is respected. Our medical team are working with everyone involved to provide the information and support they need. Due to the ongoing global pandemic an extensive testing programme in operation and strict COVID-19 protocols in place to help protect everyone involved in the delivery of the Vitality Netball Superleague season. We would like to thank all the Vitality Netball Superleague clubs, players, staff and fans for their ongoing patience and understanding whilst we navigate delivering the VNSL during these challenging times. All other fixtures scheduled for Round 19 of the Vitality Netball Superleague season will remain as previously advertised.
