Share Scottish Thistles Head Coach Tamsin Greenway has announced her squad for the upcoming 2021/22 season with 12 Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) stars included. Of those who featured in the 2021 season Emma Barrie, Bethan Goodwin, Niamh McCall, Lynsey Gallagher, Emma Love, Nicola McCleery, Iona Christian, Hannah Leighton, Sarah MacPhail, Emily Nicholl, Lauren Tait and Rachel Conway made the squad. Three Superleague teams including Strathclyde Sirens, Surrey Storm and Wasps have at least one representative in the 16-player squad. A number of other players such as Claire Maxwell – who captains the side – as well as Kelly Boyle, Hayley Mulheron and Ella Gibbons also have previous VNSL experience. The Scottish notably line-up features former Roses Future Iona Christian for the first time after another productive season with Wasps. Sirens players Cerys Cairns and Caitlin Pringle, meanwhile, have made the Scotland A squad.
