Jamaica Head Coach Connie Francis has named a 16-strong Sunshine Girls squad for the Margaret Beckford Sunshine Series next month.

Four Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) stars have been included in the squad which will take on South Africa and Trinidad & Tobago.

The series will run from October 10-23 and be conducted in a dual-round robin format.

Gezelle Allison, Malysha Kelly, Rebekah Robinson, Adean Thomas featured in the Superleague last term and have all been selected.

Four different VNSL teams are represented in Allison’s Wasps, Kelly’s Severn Stars, Robinson’s Celtic Dragons, and Thomas’ London Pulse.

The squad also includes a host of names who have previously played their netball in the UK. The likes of Shamera Sterling, Jodi-Ann Ward and Latanya Wilson also made the cut.

The Jamaica squad for the Margaret Beckford Sunshine Series is as follows:

South Africa have also announced their squad for the competition which includes three current VNSL shooting stars.
