Share For every goal scored in the Vitality Netball Superleague this weekend a tree will be planted to support Earth Day 2022 This weekend the Vitality Netball Superleague will be turning goals into trees for Round 15 to support Earth Day. Taking place on 22 April, a day before Round 15 gets underway, Earth Day brings the world together to raise awareness around environmental issues, and this year the Vitality Netball Superleague is showing its support. With the help of environmental UK start up Carbon Jacked, we will be planting a tree for every goal scored across games in Round 15 to help take carbon out of the air and breathe life into our world. Round 14 saw 559 goals, so let’s hope for some more sharp shooting this weekend. Players from the Vitality Netball Superleague will also be giving their takes on how to support the planet and be more sustainable through a series of features with Sky Sports, educating people at home on various environmental topics. Who’s in action in Round 15 After a thrilling weekend of netball at the Spring Showdown, Round 15 gets underway on Saturday with Team Bath playing host to Severn Stars at 4pm with the away side fresh off their victory against Wasps.
