Surrey Storm showed that they are up for the challenge of making it a hat-trick of Vitality Netball Superleague titles following a convincing 58-40 success over Superleague debutants Severn Stars on Saturday night.

It wasn't all plain sailing for the 2015 and 2016 Champions as Stars impressed in the opening quarter to take a narrow 11-10 lead.

By the half-time interval, Storm had turned the game around to grab a 30-20 lead. A fantastic attacking display in the final fifteen minutes from the hosts has seen their good form from last season continue into the 2017 campaign.
