Where to watch the NSL: Round 12

The Netball Super League (NSL) continues this weekend with round 12 and all four games are available to view live on Sky Sports and BBC Sport.

In round 11 both London Pulse and Loughborough Lightning confirmed their places in the Play-Offs, while London Mavericks and Manchester Thunder both moved a step closer to joining them with victories of their own.

Round 12 gets underway on Friday 30 May and all four games across the weekend will be available to watch free-to-air, live and on-demand across Sky Sports and BBC Sport.

Manchester Thunder vs LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons – Friday 30 May, FCP 19:30, Belle Vue Arena, Manchester

Manchester Thunder will be full of confidence heading into this one off the back of an impressive 69-55 win over NIC Leeds Rhinos last time out. They are also boosted by the return of Vitality Roses shooter Paige Reed, who took to court for the first time this year in round 11 after missing most of the season through injury. Meanwhile Dragons will be hoping their hard work in recent weeks can translate to points on the board.

Loughborough Lightning vs Nottingham Forest Netball – Saturday 31 May, FCP 16:00, Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham

If the reverse fixture is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat! An East Midlands derby with bragging rights as well as points on the line means both teams will need to be at their best. Vic Burgess’ Lightning side come into the game after securing their place in the top four but will not be complacent as they look to build on their impressive form as we head towards the Play-Offs. For Chelsea Pitman she’ll be hoping her players can bounce back after a defeat at London Mavericks in round 11 dented their hopes of continuing their season beyond round 14.

London Pulse vs NIC Leeds Rhinos, Sunday 1 June, FCP 18:00, Copper Box Arena, London

London Pulse became the second side to guarantee a top four finish in round 11 and will now have their sights firmly set on finishing the regular season in first place. Looking for a tenth win of the season Sam Bird will be hoping her side can take three points and begin building some momentum before the Play-Offs roll around. Hoping to put a stop to that though are NIC Leeds Rhinos. Rhinos have been unlucky not to have picked up more points in recent weeks with teams knowing they’ve been in a battle after coming up against Lauren Palmer’s side and the challenge for Pulse will be no different this weekend.

Birmingham Panthers vs London Mavericks, Sunday 1 June, FCP 18:00, Skydome, Coventry

Birmingham Panthers take on a second London side in as many weeks as they host London Mavericks. They led London Pulse early in round 10 before putting in a late charge in quarter four to secure a bonus point and will be hoping to put together a full 60-minute performance as they search for a fourth win of the season. London Mavericks head to Coventry off the back of a confidence boosting win over Nottingham Forest Netball to give themselves a six-point gap ahead of the NSL newcomers in their race for the top four.
