Introducing, The Alternative Superleague

It’s time to introduce, the Alternative Superleague.

There is no doubt that the netball family are missing netball, but we have seen an incredible reaction to testing circumstance with an abundance of brilliant social media posts and engagement with each other.

The new Alternative Superleague gives fans a chance to not only back their favourite teams and athletes but also represent their side.

This is a way for teams to compete against each other from the comfort of their homes in order to win points towards the Alternative Superleague and, ultimately, win prizes for fans!

Each team will face each other once as part of a randomly drawn fixture list. At the end of our alternative season, we will go into playoffs with the top four facing each other in two semi-finals before a Grand Final. The winning team will not only be crowned champion of our alternative league but also secure one final prize for a lucky fan of the winning team.

Every week the league will set challenges for teams to take part in and accept nominations from players, coaches and, on occasions, even fans to represent their side in the quest to be crowned champions!

Challenges will range between physical, mental and skill challenges over the course of the season.

Competitors are going to have to get creative and competitive to secure the points ultimately prizes for their fanbase.

Round one will be announced on Wednesday 1 April.
