After returning from their recent trip to Australia, the SPAR Proteas are preparing for their next adventure here in the UK as they get ready to face the Vitality Roses in a three-match test series.

Amongst the 15 selected are six Netball Super League (NSL) athletes who are either making their return to the league in 2024 or will be a brand new addition.

Khanyisa Chawane, Lefébre Rademan and Ine-Marí Venter will all come back to the NSL in 2024, with Venter returning to her club of Saracens Mavericks and Chawane and Rademan both making the switch to new teams, Cardiff Dragons and Severn Stars.

Nicola Smith, Owethu Ngubane and Nicholé Taljaard will all be joining the NSL for the first time. Smith will join reigning champions Loughborough Lightning, Ngubane will fly north of the UK to join Strathclyde Sirens and Taljaard will head to the capital to be a new member of London Pulse.

This will be the third time that South Africa have met England this year. During the Quad Series in January, the teams drew their fixture in the round-robin stage, England came out victorious in the third-place play-off.

The SPAR Proteas will face Scotland in a practice match on 3 December before the series kicks off on 5 December.
