Team Bath Netball will go into this week’s big home double header against fellow Superleague top-four contenders Hertfordshire Mavericks and Loughborough Lightning on the back of an impressive weekend win at Celtic Dragons.

The Blue and Gold won all four quarters at the Cwmbran Stadium in Wales on Saturday to claim a 65-45 victory overall.

That result, combined with a narrow 55-54 defeat for Surrey Storm at Loughborough, moves Team Bath up to third in the Vitality Netball Superleague table.

They are level on points with Monday night’s opponents Mavericks, whose unbeaten start to the season was ended by table-topping Manchester Thunder on Saturday.

Some tickets still remain for the Mavericks game, which starts at 7.45pm with doors open from 6.45pm. They are priced £10 for adults, £7 concessions and £28 for a family ticket.

To purchase, visit www.teambath.com/events/ticketline or call 0844 888 4412.

There was double cause for Team Bath celebration in Cwmbran on Saturday as their development team beat Junior Dragons 55-28 in the Netball Performance League (NPL).
