Netball Super League reveals 2026 fixtures as the League enters second year of journey to professionalisation following significant growth in 2025 relaunch

Along with the full League fixture list for 2026, the return of the Netball Super Cup has been confirmed providing fans with the opportunity to see all eight Clubs compete for the first honours of the season under one roof at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena.
The dates and full fixture list for the 2026 Netball Super League (NSL) season and NXT Gen League have been released, with the NSL season set to get underway on Saturday 21 February as the Netball Super Cup returns. This exciting one-day tournament was introduced for the first time in 2025 as a standalone event ahead of the regular rounds. It gives both new and existing fans a glimpse of what’s to come in the regular season as all eight NSL Clubs will take to court with their 2026 squads for the first time. Round one of the 2026 season then starts the following weekend, where the first League Table points are up for grabs.
Demonstrating the League’s ongoing commitment to innovation as it continues its journey to professionalisation, a series of double header fixtures have been added to the competition schedule for 2026. Tickets for each of these fixtures will be available to purchase to watch both games together in a unique format change designed to make it easier for more netball fans to come together under one roof to enjoy not one, but two world-class games of elite domestic netball.
The double header fixtures are scheduled as follows:
Round 3 – Saturday 14 March, Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham
Birmingham Panthers v London Mavericks, FCP 4pm
Loughborough Lightning v London Pulse, FCP 6pm
Round 6 – Saturday 4 April, Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham
Nottingham Forest Netball v LexisNexis Dragons, FCP 3pm
Loughborough Lightning v Manchester Thunder, FCP 5pm
Round 11 – Saturday 9 May, M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool
LexisNexis Dragons v NIC Leeds Rhinos, FCP 3:30pm
Manchester Thunder v London Pulse, FCP 6pm
As the League continues its commitment to host at least 50% of games in major arenas across the country, a number of new venues will host NSL fixtures this season, including the National Cycling Centre in Manchester and Essex Sports Arena, whilst the League also returns to the OVO Arena in Wembley, First Direct Arena in Leeds and Utilita Arena Birmingham, amongst well-established netball venues including the Copper Box Arena in London and Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham. Providing bigger and better platforms for the League’s female athletes to perform on will continue to fuel the growth of the League and inspire more young fans as the League strives to connect and engage more deeply with its growing audience as the popularity of netball, and women’s sport more generally, soars.
Claire Nelson, Managing Director of the Netball Super League said: “I’m delighted to share the NSL 2026 fixtures today as we look ahead to another year of fierce competition, world-class experiences for fans, and the continued soaring visibility of our sport. Starting with a bang at the Netball Super Cup, we’re giving fans the unmissable opportunity to see all their favourite NSL players in one place. Our formidable athletes will undoubtedly provide high-octane entertainment on court, and we’ll continue to push the boundaries to provide the ultimate sport-tainment experience for fans beyond the court, with vibrant live performances and innovative fan engagement initiatives that continue to cross the intersect between sport, art, fashion, music and more.
“As we relaunched the League last year, we saw a season that was bigger, better and bolder than ever as fans showed up for our sport like never before. With a record-breaking crowd filling The O2 for our Grand Final, a vibrant new brand identity, the introduction of exciting new rules and innovations and a new cohort of Clubs competing to lift the NSL trophy, it was a season like no other. But we’re only just getting started, and whilst fans eagerly await the 2026 season, we are working hard to consolidate the incredible growth seen in year one of professionalisation and build on this to bring our wonderful sport to even more people over the next year.”
The NSL relaunched in 2025, at the start of a journey to professionalisation to build the most competitive, commercially vibrant and captivating netball League in the world. These bold ambitions built a season of record-breaking growth, both in broadcast audiences across Sky Sports and BBC Sport and in the number of fans buying tickets to watch games live. NSL 2025 saw a 61% increase in broadcast views across the season and a 45% increase in average attendance across all Club matches and NSL major events combined, along with a 117% increase in impressions across the League’s social channels. This spectacular growth culminated in a record crowd of over 9,800 netball fans attending the 2025 Grand Final at The O2 in London, making it the second largest live netball audience in UK history (including the Commonwealth Games). Building on this record-breaking growth, a number of the innovations introduced in the 2025 relaunch remain in place for 2026, including the Super Shot and the updated play-offs process.
The 2026 home venues for the eight teams are:
Birmingham Panthers: Utilita Arena Birmingham, Worcester Arena and Coventry Skydome
LexisNexis Dragons: House of Sport in Cardiff and M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool
London Mavericks: OVO Arena in Wembley, Brighton Centre, Essex Sports Arena and Hertfordshire Sports Village in Hatfield

Loughborough Lightning: Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham and Sir David Wallace Arena in Loughborough
Manchester Thunder: National Cycling Centre in Manchester, M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool and Belle Vue Arena in Manchester
