NSL stars hit the high street with Superdrug Online Doctor

Over the last three weeks players from four Netball Super League Clubs headed to major Superdrug high street stores to meet fans and support Superdrug Online Doctor’s initiative ‘Don’t drop the ball on your health’.  

Official Partners of the Netball Super League and England Netball, Superdrug Online Doctor branded six major high street stores across the country offering fantastic visibility for the athletes, Clubs and League. 

Representing NIC Leeds Rhinos, Sophie Egbaran, Cassie Howard and Bethany Brittain ventured to the Leeds Crown Point store where the first ten fans attending the meet and greet won a mini replica Gilbert ball. In Manchester, Thunder’s Elmeré van der Berg and Nicola Smith saw themselves in prominent branding behind the tills in Manchester Piccadilly Gardens before meeting fans in Superdrug’s Manchester Arndale store. Alex Johnson and Georgia Rowe represented LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons in Bristol Broadmead, offering up signed bucket hats to fans. Lastly, London Mavericks’ players Ellie Rattu and Izzi Phillips headed to Superdrug in Wimbledon where they joined fans in an in-store shooting activation in support of the store takeover. 

Thanks to Superdrug Online Doctor, fans sharing a photo on social media with the hashtag #Dontdroptheball can be in with a chance to win a £100 Superdrug gift card. The NSL is offering fans a chance to win a pair of tickets to the 2025 Grand Final at the O2 Arena on 6 July by sharing photos or videos of the branding on Facebook or Instagram using #Dontdroptheball.*
