The Grand Final: London Pulse vs Loughborough Lightning – Sunday 6 July, FCP 17:30, The O2

After a season full of unmissable moments, it’s time for netball to take to the biggest stage. In front of a record-breaking crowd at The O2 in East London, the brand new NSL trophy will be won, crowning the first champions of the new era of the NSL. London Pulse versus Loughborough Lightning promises to be a battle truly deserving of this moment, with the two sides having both beaten each other once in the 2025 regular season, followed by Pulse taking a spectacular one-goal win over Lightning in the Major Semi-Final just two weeks ago.

London Pulse player to watch: Gracie Smith has impressed each time she’s taken to court this season, and she was a true game changer for London Pulse in their Major Semi-Final victory over Lightning. At just 16 years of age, Smith has only just finished her GCSEs, but what the young midcourter lacks in experience, she certainly makes up for in talent. Will she be able to continue her impressive form in what will undoubtedly be the biggest game of her career so far?

Loughborough Lightning player to watch: Ella Clark proved to be the difference that Loughborough Lightning needed in the Preliminary Final last weekend. She took to court in the second quarter and made instant impact with slick shooting, lifting the energy in Loughborough’s attacking end. This ability to perform under pressure could be critical to Lightning as they look to secure their fourth NSL title on Sunday.

Where to watch: This game will be broadcast on Sky Sports + and Sky Sports YouTube, with build-up coverage starting at 5pm.

International viewers can watch on NetballPass.
