Proscovia Peace to miss the remainder of the NSL 2023 season

Surrey Storm have today confirmed that Goal Shooter Proscovia Peace has been withdrawn from the squad for the rest of the Netball Super League season on medical grounds.

Peace will remain a part of the Storm family for the rest of this season and will continue her commitments off the court.

The 2022 Gilbert Top Scorer has been a part of Surrey Storm since signing in 2021. She was also named the starting GS in the All-Star VII as voted for by all NSL clubs.

This season the shooter has scored 564 goals, propelling Storm into the top-four.

Director of Netball and Player Head Coach Mikki Austin said “As well as being a world class netballer, Proscovia Peace is also an incredible human being.

“Peace still firmly remains a huge part of Surrey Storm in an off-court capacity, and we look forward to continuing the journey with Peace at a later stage.”

Surrey Storm’s next host Team Bath on Saturday knowing a point would secure their place in the semi-finals.
