London Pulse defender Lindsay Keable has announced she will retire from the Netball Super League (NSL) at the end of the 2023 season.

The 34-year-old, who is set to make her 250th NSL appearance this evening against her former side, Saracens Mavericks, will hang up her dress after the Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championships on Friday 16 June – get your tickets here.

An NSL winner with Mavericks, Keable joined Pulse in 2020 after nine years in Hertfordshire. She also enjoyed stints with Celtic Dragons and Team Bath.

In 2011, Keable made her first of 11 appearances for the Roses in an overseas series against Jamaica.

Sam Bird, CEO and Head Coach at London Pulse said: “I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Lindsay both at Mavericks and London Pulse. She’s been a dedicated athlete for many years and has continued to improve year on year. Even though Lindsay is retiring, she’s playing some of her best netball ever for our club”.

An outstanding leader Keable has also co-captained London Pulse and remains in the leadership group. Lindsay is also a dedicated teacher and has spent many years balanced her teaching career whilst playing in the NSL.

League leaders London Pulse host Surrey Storm in the first semi-final on Friday 9 June. Get your tickets here.
