The new partnership will see The Collective® instated as Brand Impact Partner to support the development of a new domestic proposition for the NSL as they move into an era of transformational change, which will also see the league relaunch in 2025. As part of its partnership with the NSL, The Collective® will work alongside the NSL as a key advisor for the relaunch in 2025. They will provide support across a variety of services, from brand strategy to creative support and ultimately product development with a view to engaging with new audiences. The NSL is embarking on a ten-year journey to full professionalisation, and last month confirmed the eight clubs selected to participate in the relaunched 2025 league. The selected clubs will deliver significant on and off court advancements to raise the standard of the league that in turn will provide a more competitive sport with higher quality games for fans. Step changes for the upcoming season will include 50 per cent of games being played at major arenas, and all matches being available to watch from home. The average player salary will increase by at least 60 per cent with the minimum salary payment more than doubling, whilst off the court there will be a significant push to grow the fanbase and reach deep into untapped communities, taking existing fans on an exciting new journey and bringing new fans in to enjoy an exhilarating and engaging new sportainment product. “We are very excited to be entering this unique partnership with the NSL as the competition enters an exciting new chapter,” said Victoria Monk, European Lead at The Collective®. “Netball remains one of the most popular team sports for girls and women in the UK. Launching this partnership with the NSL provides us with the perfect playground to harness the power of women’s sport and tap into the country’s love for netball to engage a new and existing passionate fan base. Our commitment to building rights holders’ value is inherent in the tools, services and solutions we create that help optimise value and investment. Our partnership with NSL is another opportunity for us to showcase our commitment to supporting growth in the new era of women’s sport.” “Wasserman and The Collective® felt like the perfect partner for us,” said NSL Managing Director Claire Nelson. “Not only due to their commitment and investment in women’s sport, but also their breadth of experience in commercial and brand strategy across some of the biggest sports and entertainment artists and properties globally.
