Share Surrey Storm is delighted to announce that shooter Megan Craig has signed for the club ahead of the 2017 Vitality Netball Superleague season. The 23-year-old Kiwi, who last played in the ANZ Championship for Northern Mystics, made the move to netball after an international basketball career for her nation. At 2m tall Craig will prove to be a tough attacker to handle in the Superleague this season, and has learnt her trade by playing alongside greats including Silver Ferns stars Maria Tutaia and Catherine Tuivaiti. Upon signing Megan said: “I’m very excited to have the opportunity to become a part of the Surrey Storm this season. “After hearing great things about the team and the club I couldn’t be happier to get over there and start getting to work for a great season this year. I’m super thankful to Head Coach Tania Hoffman for giving me this chance to represent Storm and giving our fans the best show of netball yet. “This year is definitely going to be a fun one and I look forward to meeting the girls on the team and all of our fans!” Related news post 2nd May 2024 Where to Watch: Round 12 Reading: 6 mins Cardiff Dragons London Pulse Loughborough Lightning Manchester Thunder Saracens Mavericks Severn Stars Strathclyde Sirens Surrey Storm Team Bath Previous Story Wasps Netball defeat Severn Stars Next Story Coleman and Nicholls to miss 2017 Vitality Netball Superleague season More News 2nd May 2024 News How Niamh Cooper learned to embrace her body Reading: 4 mins 2nd May 2024 News Where to Watch: Round 12 Reading: 6 mins 2nd May 2024 News Netball Super League broadcast fixtures for rounds 14 and 15 announced Reading: 1 min 30th Apr 2024 News #SeeUsNow video series on netballers’ experiences and women’s health launches Reading: 3 mins 30th Apr 2024 video Round 11 Highlights: Leeds Rhinos vs Loughborough Lightning More Google Ad – MPU – Right Column
