NSL stars set to represent England in upcoming series

Amongst a squad of 14 players selected to represent England in the upcoming series against South Africa in December, are 11 Netball Super League (NSL) stars who are going to grace the international stage once again.

The Vitality Netball International Series between the Vitality Roses and South Africa’s SPAR Proteas will take place in Manchester and Nottingham on 5, 9 and 10 December.

Five of the team who helped take England to their first-ever Netball World Cup Final feature in Jess Thirlby’s squad, whilst it will be a first home international series for Halimat Adio, Berri Neil, Jayda Pechova and Alicia Scholes.

The start of the new NSL seasons just three months away and many of these athletes will be showcasing their talents at the Season Opener on Saturday 17 February. Get your tickets here.

Manchester Thunder’s Nat Metcalf is taking an extended break from international netball following the Netball World Cup and was therefore not available for selection. Laura Malcolm was also unavailable due to injury.

Tickets for this series are available to purchase at tickets.englandnetball.co.uk. The whole series will be available for UK fans to watch via Sky Sports.

  • Tuesday 5 December, 7pm – AO Arena, Manchester
  • Saturday 9 December, 5pm – Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham
  • Sunday 10 December, 2pm – Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham
